Introduction:

The instrument is applicable to the determination of petroleum products, does not apply for the determination of water content in oil products.

Seal compatibility index (SCI) is under specified test conditions, the volume expansion percentage from a standard nitrile rubber ring diameter expansion in the sample. Measuring method is to use cone gauges measure the inner diameter of the rubber ring, and then the rubber ring soaked for 24h in a sample of 100 ℃, then cool, cone gauge measuring the change in the inner diameter of the rubber ring, with volume expansion percentage.
