Insulating Oil Dielectric Breakdown Tester

Introduction

HK-507A conforms to ASTM D1816 Standard Test Method for Dielectric Breakdown Voltage of Insulating Oils of Petroleum Origin Using VDE Electrodes, Oils that combine a high flashpoint with high dielectric strength have long been used as an insulating medium in transformers, switchgear and other electrical apparatus. To ensure that the dielectric strength of the oil does not deteriorate however, proper maintenance is essential, and the basis of proper maintenance is testing for many electric equipment used in power system and enterprises, inner insulation is mostly oil-insulated. Oil dielectric strength test is one of the essential routine tests.  Our HK-507A oil dielectric breakdown tester is the ideal testing device for oil dielectric strength. Function

1.It is portable and single oil cup structure, controlled by microprocessor, can be achieved a series of operation automatically, such as voltage rise, voltage hold, voltage fall, stir, display, calculation and print result. The tester can conduct the oil dielectric breakdown test at voltage of 0~80kV.

2.We adopt large lattice LCD screen with inner backlight system, even clearly visible in the night, the testing process by English menu prompt, easy to operate.

3.Operator inputs brief command so that it will fulfill oil dielectric strength tests. If requires user can print out the result.

4.The instrument operation is simple, the operator only needs to input simple instructions according to the manual, then the instrument will automatically complete insulating oil dielectric breakdown test according to setting. The instrument will automatically store each breakdown voltage value, after the test, choose print, it can print out each dielectric breakdown result and average value.

5.portable and can be used in both lab and outdoor measurement. It is easy to carry and has good anti-disturbance and can also be used under strong electro-magnetic conditions.
