Introduction:
This instrument applies to "Grease corrosion test method" For determination of anti-corrosion grease. This method is coated with grease tapered roller bearings stored under simulated wet conditions, then check traces of corrosion on the bearing grease as corrosion resistance evaluation.
This instrument can be applied by the ASTM-D1743 Standard Test Method for experimental work.
Instrument composition
The instrument is composed of the following:
1. The standard bearings: 7604 tapered roller bearings
2. The container: Glass bottle with a screw cap, capacity not less than 250ml
3. Bearing bracket: Store coated grease bearings
4. Mounted on the base of the motor: JY7114
5. Thrust loader: Can indicate the bearing thrust load to 2.7 kg of a mechanical device
