Summary
This instrument is designed and made as per national standard GB/T 4508-2010 Standard Test Method for Ductility of Bitumen and T0605-2011 Asphalt Ductility Test in JTG E20-2011 in the Industrial Standard of People’s Republic of China, Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering and ASTM D113 Standard Test Method for Ductility of Bituminous Materials. It is suitable to determine the distance to which it will elongate before breaking when two ends of a briquette specimen of the material are pulled apart at a specified speed and at a specified temperature,which is named as the asphalt ductility, and also it can measure the ductility of the coal tar pitch. The maximum measurement distance is less than 1500mm, the Unit: cm, and it could do the tensile test for the two samples.
I. Main technical characteristics
1. The operating controller with independent structure design, and using the single chip microprocessor as the control core. With the large (800×480 dot matrix) color touch screen, two types operation: wire and wireless.
2. With the variable frequency motor to control the tensile speed of the asphalt sample, and the photoelectric pulse to detect the tensile speed, automatically adjusting speed by the frequency motor. The both tension sensors to measure the value of the drawing force independently and display it on the screen.
3. It adopts the split design 50L water tank to independently cool by the water circulation, heat and control the constant temperature with the digital temperature sensor to detect and high accuracy temperature control.
4. It use the double water tanks design to make sure the constant temperature accuracy is at ±0. 1℃ during the test time(30 mins) and there are no fluctuation in the water tank. It has the automatic reset after the test, and the system work again automatically.
5. The stretch system adopts the external lead screw and double track location. The drive motor adopts the variable frequency motor, big torque, wide selection range, reliable and stable work.
6. With two work modes: automatic operation and manual, it makes the instrument operation and daily maintenance much convenient and easy.
7. The instrument has 2 roads force measurement, It can detect 3 samples at a time and measure the tension of 2 samples of them.
